Mr. Joseph A. Gasan is the Chairman of Gasan Group Limited, GasanZammit Motors Limited, Gasan Mamo Insurance Limited and several companies constituting the Gasan Group. He is also a director of several companies including MIDI p.l.c. and Main Street Complex plc.
Joseph Gasan assumed the running of the family business in 1971 and in the mid-seventies initiated and directed an expansion and diversification programme, which saw the company grow its positions in the automotive and marine business and enter new areas of business, resulting in the evolvement of the Gasan Group to its present level of development.
Under Joseph Gasan’s Chairmanship, the Group successfully expanded its portfolio of activities; established leadership of the automotive business; captured a significant share of the Insurance market; introduced cable television to all Maltese households; secured a strong presence in the development of residential and commercial property; and maximised business opportunities in the engineering and information and communications technology sectors.
The result has been the creation of a dynamic enterprise with the necessary human and financial resources to continue to seek fresh opportunities at home and abroad.
