BYD NAMED GLOBAL BRAND OF THE YEAR IN AUTOMOBILES AT WORLD BRANDING AWARDS
London, United Kingdom, 3 November 2026 – BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new-energy vehicles, has been named Brand of the Year in the Automobiles category, earning Global Tier recognition at the 2026–2027 World Branding Awards. The award was presented at Hampton Court Palace in London, adding international brand recognition to BYD’s expanding presence in the global automotive market.
Organised by the World Branding Forum, the awards assess brands through brand valuation, consumer market research and public online voting. The Global Tier recognises international brands operating in at least 10 countries on three or more continents. The distinction therefore recognises BYD at a global level, beyond an individual national market.
